Heat's Kiss is a bi-monthly (every two months) magazine celebrating romance in all of its sub-genres. The magazine is published by Heart's Nest Press, the romance imprint of Arc Manor Publishers.
Each issue contains new and reprint stories, articles, book reviews and an interview with a prominent personality in the industry.
The magazine is edited by Denise Little.
Denise Little has worked for Barnes & Noble/B. Dalton Bookseller off and on since 1980. She’s worked as everything from receiving clerk to bookstore manager to national book buyer for science fiction, fantasy, and romance. She launched the company’s genre magazine, Heart to Heart, and wrote it for its first two years of existence. She also worked for Kensington Publishing, where she had her own imprint, Denise Little Presents. She was executive editor at Tekno Books, working for Dr. Martin H. Greenberg. During her publishing career, she edited more than twenty New York Times bestselling writers.
Her books include The Valdemar Companion (with John Helfers), Alien Pets, Perchance To Dream, Twice Upon a Time (winner of the New York Public Library’s 100 Best Books of the Year Award), A Dangerous Magic, A Constellation of Cats, Realms of Dragons, The Quotable Cat, Murder Most Romantic, Mistresses of the Dark, Alaska: Tales of Adventure from the Last Frontier (with Spike Walker), Creature Fantastic, Vengeance Fantastic, The Magic Shop, The Sorcerer’s Academy, Witches’ Brew (with Yvonne Jocks), Words of the Witches (with Yvonne Jocks), and The Official Nora Roberts Companion (with Laura Hayden). Her short fiction is included in Civil War Fantastic and Alternate Gettysburgs.
